Cast off all stitches.
The Crocheted Edge:
Original instructions for the crocheted edge are not very clear, but the following is my suggestion after looking at the pictures.
Where crochet terminology differ, UK/US.
1st row: Inserting your hook in a cast-off stitch right over a point in the star * 1 treble/double crochet, 2 chain, 1 treble/ double crochet in same stitch, [skip next stitch, 2 chain, 1 treble/ double crochet in next stich]x13, skip next stitch, 2 ch.
Repeat from * all around, ending with a slip stitch in the 1st stitch in round.
2nd row: * [ (1 treble/double crochet, 1 single/double crochet in top of stitch just worked)x3, 1 treble/double crochet] - all in the same space . Skip 1 space. 1 single/double crochet in next space, 2 ch, go to next space.*
Repeat from * to * all around.
